When they took Jesus away and into the high priest's house or chambers. Outside the crowd waited. Peter joined them, but was very scarce about his being,and did not want people to know that he was with JESUS and he was one of the twelve disciples. People noticed him being very familiar to them. One little girl stared at him in the firelight and said, "He was with JESUS," she said.
"Woman," said Peter, "I don't know him." that was the first time that Peter denied Christ...Later on, someone said, "You're his follower," and again he said, "Man, I am not." Then someone insisted, "He's from Galilee. I know lthis man was with JESUS.
"Man," Peter cursed; "I don't know what you're talking about!" Now that was the third time that Peter denied JESUS, and he remembered what JESUS had told him, that before the rooster crows three times, he will deny Him [JESUS]...
While Peter spoke, a rooster crowed. JESUS looked over at Peter. JESUS had mentioned that Peter would deny Him...Peter remembered this very much, walked away, and bitterly wept.[cried]
Judas Iscariot denied JESUS and betrayed the LORD with a kiss...JESUS knew that Judas was going to betray Him. He mentioned it when they had the last supper together, JESUS said, "that whoever eateth with me hath lifted up his heel against me.."
All the disciples was asking, Lord, is it I? And JESUS said it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped, and Judas dipped at the same time JESUS did. So He told Judas whatever he was going to do, - do it quickly...The disciples had no idea what JESUS was talking about, except Judas, who betrayed him with a bag of coins.
After JESUS betrayal, Judas went and wept and hung himself..there was no use in asking GOD to forgive him, for he had betrayed GOD'S SON..JESUS
When we deny JESUS, we are denying who HE is and that is the Son of GOD...And the one who died upon the cross on Calvary
for the sins of the world, so that we can have life, and have it abundantly...
We are healed by His Stripes; for our pain, suffering, financial, and other problems that He has taken on for us...let's give all our problems to JESUS, and he will take care of them.
God gives us all a freedom of choice to accept His Son as our Lord and Savior of the world...
