The vignette of a celebrated valor…
The call duty sounding deathly
Diurnally to a parade of Majors.
In chains and fetters you cling;
Freedom fighters
To the cross; a fate so faithful:
“If I perish,I perish
If I die,I die, …
So help me God”.

Let the following Aprils be dark
And this land remembering your courage
In season of abor… abort…aborted abortions
Of these coups;kangaroo,phantom and palace.

And the perforation;hastely done
Before the dawn of the execution day.
In soonest time,the reddening
With the murderer laughers roaring high
Behind the projectors tape .

The oath eventually sealed by national gazette.
“death by firing”
We caught the TV waves swaying over my sonnets
The end surely justified the means.

a little disjointed
Hi poetdave,
I found this to have some great individual lines but the thread of the poem seemed a little tangled. The abor.. abort.. aborted abortion line seemed strange too. I'm not sure whether this was to keep some rhythmn or timing going or some other reason maybe? Good in places but hard to decipher overall.
