What is the meaning
Of your lips on me?
I think, idly
As you press against me
And I press back,
Mechanically.
"What is lust?"
Later, I ask you,
Strewn across the bed
Limp and used as an old tissue.
"My touch," you tell me.
Your saccharine touch I'm thinking.

Saccharine Love
How honest this is. I don't know whether to feel sorry for his exposure (to the world) or the using of her. Very good piece of writing.

Casey...
You know saccharine is one of my favorite words. I like the way you but it in your poem instead of saying bull****, fake or phony. Lust is only a temporary chemical reaction that unfortunately makes all the blood from our brain go elsewhere. As far as I am concerned, as soon as it is over, you throw it away like a pair of badly soiled panties. Oh, too be that young again...

Sweet...
How lovely can a touch be, the sweetness of a smile evolves into something you feel in your mouth sending signals to your brain. The signals indicate that a something is going on; the brain interprets all the feelings into something called holding hands! Thank you!

Williamhill-
Thanks for your comment on this piece. I'd feel worse for her, to be perfectly honest... After all it takes a very special person to inspire all of that apathy.

Macbeth-
I think this is something anyone could experience, young or old. I know-- I watch Sex and the City! I think bullsh** also would have been an appropriate word to use in this piece. You're still young, dear.

Tap-
Touch is probably my favorite sensation, the most intense thing I feel, and a simply incredible experience for me. Glad you liked it.

Thanks guys, sorry it took so long to reply, been really busy.
