Will passed out in the shower.
Doreen wrote "loser" across his chest with a magic marker.

Will vomited on her and almost passed out in the shower.

"You're more beautiful than my mother," he said.

He almost fell asleep.

Doreen waited for him to pass out again and then she grabbed a magic marker.

Doreen could only spell sixth grade words.

i am blown away.
this is remarkable. it's so refreshing and wild to see something like this posted here.

what a weird, tripped-out way to write a poem. what a weird, tripped-out scene. and so accurate. the line repetition is totally genius here: the slow moving forward, the forgetting and the dreamlike buzz that happens under the umbrella of a shitload of vodka. and their relationship is so tender, so messy. it shows us a thousand things without telling them.
