Born in Brookline, MA in 1966. Camped 'cross country in a tin-top, Apache trailer in 1968. Lived in Caly for 2-years while dad paid his school dues to the Airforce. Camped back 'cross country to live in Needham, MA; original home of Carters baby-clothes and underwear. Went to Cornell from 84-88, graduated with a degree in English Lit and Writing. Don't remember much of my sophomore or junior year, but apparently didn't flunk anything badly enough to prevent graduation. Re-connected with my high-school sweetheart (long story) in 1989. Married her in 1991 and we moved us out to Columbus, OH. Whelped us a boy-child in 1999. His name's Dan, and he's a hoot. Email me if you'd like to see the pics of his clan tattoos.
I love to write, though it's often not easy. Do a bunch of marketing things to keep busy and (sometimes) earn a living. I teach marketing and advertising at the Columbus College of Art and Design. I build and play mountain dulcimers. I read everything, love all kinds of movies, love to play games, love to talk way too much and love my family, including our newish basset hound, Phoebe.
