My Ancestor's Daughter

"My face is changing." I told my Godbrother as I traced the lines down my cheekbone. "They're becoming more defined." My ancestral traits are coming through. Looking down I see my grandmother's hands attached to her thick wrists. I have her legs as well, thick and solid. I try to piece together where all the traits came from but names and dates turn to fuzzy faceless memories. The older I get the more of them I see in me.

A lot of horse objects have been coming into my possession as of late. It can only mean one thing. It's time to work with horse totems.
