Born in 1952 at a very young age, I spent my early years as a child. I am a computer consultant, retired on disability, and I ain't got nothin' better to do than write. So far I have never sold a poem, and am just getting where I can tolerate the discomfort level of forcing one of my relatives to read one, so the pleasure of having someone pay me for the privilege of reading one is still only a mad fantasy. My relatives are getting more clever about seeing me coming, so rather than take up assaulting strangers, I have been posting the poems here.
The only upbeat happening was about four years ago when I met and married a woman who would have driven me to poetry even if I had not been so inclined. Not only does she, with apparent sincerity, say that she likes my poems, but not all of her family has been alerted to my poetry habit.
Last, my wife and I are going to have a son next October. Life goes on - sometimes wonderfully!
