Born November 14, 1983 in Quito, Ecuador to a Canadian father and Australian mother. From age six I was raised in Australia before moving to Canada in 2001 to complete a Bachelor of Arts Honours at Carleton University concentrating in Ancient Cultures.
I have always been interested in the arts, whether musical, literary or the fine arts. As a child, I was constantly drawing and writing short stories and poems to amuse myself, something I attribute to influences from both my mother and my father. My fiercest passion, however, is the academic sphere into which I unwittingly wandered in to my second year of university. To this end, I hope to continue my education and obtain my Masters and PhD in the field of Celtic Studies.
I chose my pen name because it means "beautiful summer" in the Welsh language, of which I am particularly fond, and some of my most cherished childhood memories are sitting on the front porch in the summer, with a hot cup of tea watching the lightening and listening to the rain pelt down on the corrugated iron roof with my family.
