33-year old married mother of two girls living in the Southern U.S. Writer, artist, careful gardener, experimental baker, blue ribbon junkie. Been writing for a looooong time; mostly horror and some adult contemporary fiction. I own the CafePress shoppe "Miss Millificent" ("morbid stuff for morbid people"), and am the editor of "Lost in the Dark", a horror/dark fantasy zine (http://www.lostinthedark.net).
After years of sporadic submitting, my dreams were finally recently realized. I have had stories published in "The House of Pain", "DemonMinds", and "The Harrow" zines, and am scheduled for publication in "Scorched Wings" and "Black Petals". I just got the news that a novella of mine will be published in the annual print anthology, "Darkness Rising 2004".
The oddest thing about all this is turning the corner into confidence about my writing. I'd never really felt it before.
